The President of the Paediatric Association of Nigeria (PAN), Dr. Petronilla Tabansi, alongside the Secretary General, Dr. Uchenna Onubogu, and the Assistant Secretary, Dr Maduka Ughasoro, participated in a three-day high-level stakeholder meeting held in Abuja from the 2nd to the 6th of March 2026. The meeting was organized by UNICEF, UNFPA, and the Federal Government of Nigeria.

The engagement brought together key stakeholders to advance the Strengthening Access to Reproductive Health (SARAH) Project, aimed at improving reproductive health outcomes in Nigeria.

During the meeting, the PAN President delivered a goodwill message, while the Association actively contributed to key discussions and decision-making processes that will shape policies and interventions for improved reproductive health services—ultimately promoting the health and well-being of the Nigerian child.
