PANCONF 2026: NJP CALLS FOR SUBMISSION OF EXPANDED ABSTRACTS

🗣🗣🗣SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT 

🙋🏽‍♂Dear delegates,

✍🏻Nigerian Journal of Paediatrics (NJP) is planning to publish a "Book of Conference Proceedings" immediately after PANCONF GATEWAY2026. 

👉This implies that an expanded version of the abstract to be submitted for presentation at the conference could also be submitted to NJP as an "EXPANDED ABSTRACT".

👉The publication fee will be half the current rate of sixty thousand Naira (N60,000) only.

👉At the point of submission of a conference abstract, the submitter will be asked if they are 
interested in submitting an "expanded abstract" for the "Book of Conference Proceedings". If 
the answer is "YES", then there would be a link to the guidelines for expanded abstract. If the answer is "NO", then you could just go on with your abstract submission for the conference. 

👉Guidelines for submission of expanded abstracts are as follows:
📌Names should appear as surname followed by intials only.
📌Affiliations.
📌E-mail address of the corresponding author only. 
📌Title: Not more than 20 words.
📌 Introduction: Concise information about what gap the research is trying to address. To include a single statement on the objective of the study. (Not more than 200 words).
📌Methods: Not more than 250 words.
📌Results: Essential findings of importance. Not more than 200 words.
📌Discussion and Conclusion: Highlights of relevant findings and their imports for practice and
research. (Not more than 250 words).
📌References: Not more than ten. Fifty per cent of the listed citations must not be older than five years. Each citation should include the DOI.
📌Table and Figures: Only one table (drawn on Microsoft Excel spreadsheet) and one figure or image are allowed.
📌For Case Reports and Case Series, the word count should not be more than 750 words and should include a Summary, Introduction, Case Report, Discussion and Conclusion and a clear statement on relevant ethical considerations.
